In our 50-year history, we have always questioned our actions and adapted to new requirements. Clean production was always an important goal. Not only do we continuously optimize our products and processes, our production also undergoes constant optimization.

Our clearly defined goal by 2030 is CO2 neutrality, and we have developed a roadmap for this:

Yesterday

We have been using our facilities to generate solar energy since 2010. Today we have generated almost 1,000,000 kWh of solar energy. We have been running our production with electricity as the main energy source for many years.

2023 conversion to energy efficiency - Through intelligent actions we were able to reduce the electricity consumption of our production by 12%.

March 2024 - Commissioning of our open-space PV system with 400kWp. This system generates almost 15% of our process energy.

Today – Tomorrow

We are converting our production with a focus on resource efficiency. By reusing and reducing energy, we reduced our energy by almost 30%. Our investments in this area are historically high. Our goals are very ambitious. This is the only way we can say in the long term with a clear conscience that we are not harming the environment. The ecological footprint is also becoming an important part of competitiveness - and we think that's a good thing!

We source a significant amount of energy from renewable sources and by 2030 we will be carbon neutral.
